If you’re keen for a shorter ride mid-week, then why not join the Club for a Wednesday ride to lunch at the Captains Flat Hotel?

Outbound: ex. Little Sutton Bakehouse via Sutton Rd, Norton Rd (Wamboin) to Bungendore, then Kings Hwy through to Captains Flat Rd (96 km): https://maps.app.goo.gl/8o6BrCjpJQCCRDSN9

Note: Briars Sharrow Rd (low level crossing near Captains Flat Rd intersection) and Foxlow Bridge are closed to traffic.

Return: Retracing outbound route to Kings Hwy then each to their own.

Approximately 140 km return to Queanbeyan on sealed main roads (expect damaged surfaces).  

Fuel: Available in Queanbeyan.

GS Riders: Those keen to detour for fun on gravel or dirt are more than welcome to join en route, or at the Pub.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at Little Sutton Bakehouse (1 Victoria St, Sutton) for a 10:45 set-off.

• Bungendore (passing through, not stopping): 11:15
• Captains Flat Hotel (51 Foxlow St, Captains Flat): Arr. 11:50 (lunch booking @12:00).
