Up for a 3-day GS ride and more camping? Then why not join the Post-Kozzy Rally GS ride to take in the picturesque Nariel Valley, spend a night under stars at a lovely bush campsite, head onto McKillop's Bridge over the Snowy River, finally culminating in a pub stay at the Bendoc Commercial Hotel?

  • Day 1 - Sun 12 Oct: Behrs Flat Campground to Native Dog Campground:

After a leisurely bacon and egg roll breakfast supplied by the Club, those taking part will depart for Corryong via Khancoban to refuel. Next stop will be Benambra, through the picturesque Nariel Valley, where riders will fill up fuel and get any last supplies before taking Limestone Road into Native Dog Flat Campground for the night. It is expected that we would arrive relatively early at this campground (maybe @ 3pm), giving an opportunity to set up camp, collect heaps of firewood for a night under the stars at this excellent camp ground.  Google Maps (227 km)

  • Day 2 – Mon 13 Oct: Native Dog Flat Campground to Bendoc Victoria:

Once again after a lazy start to the day, cooking up a hearty breakfast from supplies secured at Benambra, this day sees us depart our night's campsite and continue along  Limestone Road until we turn right onto Snowy River Road, then we do a hard left turn onto McKillops Road. This road takes the riders down a steep climb to McKillops Bridge where we cross the Snowy River, then ride across the Deddick Vally until we hit the Bonang Highway. At the Bonang Highway we turn South to pick up the Bendoc-Orbost Road into Bendoc. The plan is to stay at the Commercial Hotel in Bendoc, but before we arrive, it is planned that we make amends for not finding Wilson's Hut on a previous ride last year. Hopefully lamb cutlets will be on the menu at the hotel that night. Google Maps (148 km)

  • Day 3 – Tues 14 Oct: Bendoc, Victoria to Hume, Canberra:

This final day sees us return to Canberra, doing our best to stay on the dirt and off the tar. Leaving Bendoc and taking Big Flat Road and Mila Road, we will make our way to Bombala for a refuel and coffee stop. From there we will take some farm back roads through the Bukalong and Gunningrah localities until we hit the bitumen off the Snowy River Way. Following a stint on the tar, we will navigate our way onto Myalla Road, through Myalla and into Cooma for a final stop before we make the final push back home. This can be taken either through Namadgi NP via Shannon's Flat or via the Monaro Highway for those that want to make a quicker return home.  Google Maps  (269 km)
