Why not make the most of warmer and longer days and join the Club for a Saturday coast run to Huskisson for lunch at Bud’s Tavern (approx. 450 km return)? If a shorter ride’s more your thing, then why not join for the first leg through to Nerriga for coffee (240 km return)?

Outbound: Little Sutton Bakehouse to Bungendore, Tarago, Nerriga (coffee/rest stop at Nerriga Hotel Coffee Shop), then onto Huskisson via Turpentine Rd to Bud’s Tavern (190 km):  Google Maps

Return: Each to their own and to decide on the day with options including:

• Via Milton, East Lynne, Nelligen and Braidwood to Bungendore (215km): Google Maps
• Via Kangaroo Valley, Bundanoon, Highland Way and Hume Hwy to Watson BP Truckstop  (240km):  Google Maps
• Retracing outbound route to Bungendore (160km):  Google Maps

Approximately 450 km return (depending on return route) on sealed main and secondary roads (expect some damaged road surfaces).

Fuel: Available in Huskisson, Milton, Braidwood or Nowra.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Little Sutton Bakehouse (1 Victoria St, Sutton), for a prompt 08:30 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Pub.

Register if you're interested in coming so I can let the Pub know likely numbers for lunch. Please email rides@bmwmcc.au if you plan to meet the group on the way or at the Pub, or head elsewhere after coffee in Nerriga.

For those joining the ride along the way, or making their own way to the Pub, proposed meeting points (with best guess times) are:

• Little Sutton Bakehouse - leaving 08:30;
• Bungendore (Gibralter & Molonglo Sts roundabout) - arriving and leaving 09:00 (not stopping);
• Nerriga Hotel (6124 Nerriga Rd, Nerriga) - arriving 10:15 and leaving by 11:00;
• Bud’s Tavern (68 Owen St, Huskisson) - arriving 11:50 (lunch booking @12:00)
