It’s springtime, so why not enjoy the warmer days and join the Club for a twisty, uphill and downhill Sunday ride to Trunkey Creek, for lunch at the Black Stump Hotel (450 km return)? If you’d prefer a shorter ride, then why not join the first leg of the ride through to Crookwell for coffee (185 km return)?

Outbound: Little Sutton Bakehouse (meeting/set-off point) to Gunning, Grabben Gullen, Crookwell (coffee/rest stop at Crown Theatre Café), then onto Binda, Tuena and through to the Black Stump Hotel at Trunkey Creek (178 km): Google Maps 

Return: Via Tuena, Binda, Rugby and Boorowa to Little Sutton Bakehouse (272 km): Google Maps 

Approximately 450 km return on sealed main and secondary roads. Expect some road surfaces to be damaged. Note that the outbound route includes roads that are hilly and twisty with some hairpin bends. 

Fuel: Available in Crookwell and Boorowa.

Meeting Point: Meet fuelled and ready to go at the Little Sutton Bakehouse (1 Victoria St, Sutton), for a prompt 08:45 departure.

GS Riders: For those keen on detouring via gravel or dirt, you’re more than welcome to join us en route, or at the Pub.

• Gunning (opposite Telegraph Hotel but not stopping) - arriving and leaving 09:25

• Black Stump Hotel (8 Arthur St, Trunkey Creek) - arriving 11:55 (lunch booking @12:00)
